Episode 1 - Life in the village of LinZhiNei

While working on the computer in the church office, the phone rang and I picked up the phone. A lady at the other end started to speak in Taiwanese. She kept babbling and rambling without knowing that I had a hard time of  understanding her. The things I knew were that she was not happy and needed help from Pastor Hsiao and it had something to do with the drainage ditch.  After finding out the approximate location of her home, I relayed the urgent message to Pastor Hsiao after her return. Upon hearing it, she went to the lady's house right away and had the issue solved. Surprisingly, we received a bag of the lady's local-grown tangerines  the next day- so sweet and juicy! The village life is indeed unique and full of flavor.
